ABOUT
We are a community-based cultural organization rooted in a village area of Udupi, Karnataka. Founded by eight dedicated members, our group has grown to more than fifteen active members united by a passion for art, culture, and social service. We promote traditional and contemporary art forms across India through drama, cultural programs, Yakshagana, and street plays. Our performances have received wide recognition and appreciation at various platforms. Alongside performances, we conduct workshops and camps for children to nurture creativity and cultural awareness. Through our artistic activities, we work to raise awareness about important social issues such as education for children, women’s empowerment, HIV/AIDS awareness, the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse, waste management, blood donation, and other social concerns. We also actively participate in social service initiatives for community welfare. We have successfully organized a National Drama Festival in our village, inviting theatre groups from across India, which was widely appreciated. With continued support and encouragement, we aspire to expand our reach and deepen our impact on society.

On thier Bideccinial year, Tulavera Sangatane inaugurated the 35th Rangotsava on 17.10.2020, The programs were from 1-10-2020 to 26-10-2020. which included dance, drama and music of various kinds. There was lot of excitement in the audience and their encouragement during covid times to the artists were exemplary.

Mudradi, at the foothills of the Western Ghats in Udupi district, has been drawing the attention of theatre buffs from far and wide in recent years. Because of the activities of Nama Tuluver Kala Sanghatane (Natka), this otherwise nondescript village has emerged as a prominent spot on the theatre map of Karnataka. Not confining itself to Tulu, as the name connotes, it has brought on stage several acclaimed Kannada plays. Way back in 1985, Dharmayogi Mohan, a culture enthusiast, founded Nilayada Kalavidaru, a forum for cultural activities at Mudradi. It was mostly Yakshagana in those days. On the occasion of its decennial year, Nilayada Kalavidaru was rechristened as Nama Tuluver Kala Sanghatane. The organization that made a humble beginning has grown leaps and bounds in the 33 years of its existence
